The Round Robin Contesto Is Starting!

THE DEADLINE TO ENTER IS MONDAY NOW THE 25TH!
This is because ONLY 3 people have entered, and the contest won't work as well with only 3. so, come on and enter! please?! there's only 3 of us right now, and it's lonely! we promise we don't bite!

i'm sending a journal around asking for entrants to our contest!
the deadline for entering is the 18th of february (2/18) 25th of february (2/25).
the 18th 25th is also the start date for the frames!

here's the official "how the contest will work" schpiel:

Basic Concept:
This is a blind swap. This means you won't know what you're getting. the design of the frame is completely up to the maker. i do ask that you take a photo/scan of the frame you make, and submit that to the club the day you mail it. (this will serve as proof to me that it was mailed on time.)

This is a "round robin" swap, meaning that person A would send to B would send to C, etc. (a->b->c->d->e->a, like that) once i get all the notes/comments from people who are entering, i'll arrange everyone so that if you aren't willing to ship overseas, you won't have to.

Judging:
it will be a "voted on by peers" thing. you (obviously) can't vote for yourself. once i've recieved everyone's photos, i'll make a journal of them, with accompanying poll, so we can vote on who's won that round.

Mailling:
since the frames are made of wire (or similar), which can be delicate, pad it to your comfort level, and stick it in the mails! there will be a "mail by" date, but you can mail yours sooner. the person who recieves it won't be allowed to start filling it in until that part of the contests' start date tho. so keep that in mind.

Timeline:
From February 18th (2/18) 25th (2/25), you have 4 weeks to make the frame and ship it. everything will have to be shipped by March 10th (3/10) 17th (3/17).
Finishing will start as soon as i've been notified that everyone's gotten their frame. this is to make sure that everyone has the same amount of time for each step. (finishing early is fine tho!) everyone will have 4 weeks for finishing.

Prizes:
as for prizes, we're still deciding. i've had an offer of subscription gifting from my sister. if you'd like to donate a prize, i'll love you forever.

NOTES: the frame doesn't have to have any specific design or concept behind it, just whatever you'd like to make. the frame doesn't *have* to be wire, it could be something a little more substantial if you'd like, as long as the finishing is wire-intensive. keep in mind tho:
you can win for 3 different things:
1: best frame
2: best innards
3: best overall
