to be part of the club just add or icon to your journal, watch us and send a note intitled join so we can add you!

and that's it ;)

as far as benefits, you get to submit works to the club and get them viewed by all our members, bringing you more exposure and you can also enter our contests! More benefits may be added at a future date, butjust the extra exposure is a real good boost to anyone wanting to showcase their work.

^^ erm, i was thinking about starting out in jewlery, and i kno that wireworking is a huge part of this

i was wondering if u had any advice for a begginer?

well dear, the best advice i can give is, get some cheaper wire and pliers and start making wire stuff!

some simple loops and wiggles, just to get familiarized with the tools and how the wire works.

Even make some jewelry with it and as your confidance builts move to better materials!!!

but always, always have fun doing it!

^^ i started with copper wire bc it was the only stuff my dad will borrow me^^

im startin to get the hang of it

but...still bugs me how it doesnt hold it shape well..

yes, copper wire is softer than most other wires, and has more trouble holding the shape ;)

try going to those shops that sell cheap stuff, they usually have these coils of wire and it's perfect to use for this, it holds the shape better and it's fairly inexpensive.

you can even use it to make items for yourself and as hifts, even sell, though not to people who are alergic to pewter metals ;)
